changelog

2026

may

12th

  • new starry and more season 2 project page
  • new dreamconstraint project page
  • also went and reorganized most of the project pages (and image directories) file structure so that it's cleaner to manage. all the osc stuff got moved to its own folder for example

april

25th

  • replaced most if not all non-svg images with webp versions instead to save on bandwidth
    • i converted it with the quality set to 100 so there shouldn't be any visible changes
    • this roughly halves the total size of all combined images btw
    • i may have also accidentally applied it to the old games too but it looks to work with webp files so oh well

24th

  • 3 new buttons
  • 1 new banner by infinitysnapz
  • banner code also reworked to use a bag system instead of just randomizing it when clicking on it

8th

1st

  • updated moon widget colors
  • thats my prank

march

31st

  • moved around some embeds on the home page
    • new moon widget from dimden, thought it looked nicer
    • the ad iframe is still under extra with the buttons though
    • (which i also changed the alignment of)
  • some more pages use textfx now
  • some pages also use instead of - now where appropiate
    • this may not be a full conversion but i do not care.
  • updated project image for puyopunk which should be higher quality
  • misc page slightly updated with cooler download buttons
    • it's kind of like the older version of the download buttons where they were gifs in adobe animate that swayed the text like this, so think of it like a spiritual successor to that

30th

  • parallax scrolling!
    • this is a shoddy javascript hodgepodge but im pretty sure that's how you're supposed to do it
  • wavy text! this uses textfx, a small additionally hodgepodge js+css solution for this kind of text
    • about damn time i get around to that
    • also shaky text too
  • updated ifindex's status section significantlly
    • last.fm integration
    • cleaner layout
    • background color
  • added filter toggles to art and projects
  • added project permafrost project page

23rd

  • reorganized css a bit more

6th

  • fully replaced all the collapsable buttons with identical versions that use purely html and css, compared to the earlier solution that unnecessarily used javascript
    • (since turns out that was a thing)
  • navbar buttons and social media buttons on the home page also have labels now. they don't work the best on smaller resolutions but for at least the navbar it works fine, and its mainly for desktop users anyways
  • im writing this at like 4:30 AM so if anything else is broken or missing atp i think i'll cry
  • i'll add permafrost like later or something :v

5th

  • fixed the webmeji dragging being kind of funny… also, the index buttons finally show text when you hover over them so it's more clear what those are meant to be for

4th

  • reorganized a lot of the css for the site
  • also fixed a few blog posts that had some extra formatting problems
  • i've also went and changed the weights on the ferrite font so that they're easier to read. turns out i didn't really like how medium looked when rendered to a page like this
  • all of the comics have also been updated to supprt glightbox usage! this should make it a lot friendlier for mobile users, and it'll also just make the hallowbeaf comic a lot more readable since now you can actually zoom into the damn thing
  • while we're at it, i went and added webmeji to the index page. i did some changes to it myself (at my own risk, according to the js file for it) so it's a bit more fun

1st

  • the home page has a banner now! this is meant to replace the old random banner that the site used to have in the 2023-2024 iteration
  • i also updated glightbox to a newer version because i learnt it updated like 2 days after i got the initial version when making the art page

february

28th

  • haven't touched this site in a good bit for large additions, and any changes that i did add didn't feel like they were worth mentioning (mainly css fixes and very slight adjustments to formatting, or the placement of buttons)
  • all of my old blog posts have been properly cleaned up, as they had a lot of still faulty links. this time though, i actually went and made it so their themes are 'of the time'! i figure this should help better show that these are old blog posts. i was inspired by checking out older versions of my site.
  • there's new project pages that i need to add and update still, but i'm leaving the update like this and having the project page additions be for sometime after this.
  • this should also make the site actually usable on mobile! maybe. i can't test this on my phone until i push the changes live without port forwarding
  • a lot of it was mainly under the hood changes though, so… really this update is mainly focused on the blog anyways and some fixes to links
  • if you snoop around, you might also notice some additional styling! those are for some other stuff that won't be for another bit. secret secret! or whatever the kids say. ahh!!! AHHH!!!

2025

july

12th

  • gave some pages their own unique look to them!
  • some project pages (mainly MSSBWT and CFAN4) now can be played entirely within the website! since they're just flash animations, using ruffle and some slight tweaks to the flash files themselves, you can watch all this 2019-2020 content without the need of youtube! all you need is a device that can run ruffle…
  • note that not all of the project pages have their own unique looks yet - so far it's just three or so that have them and some other pages

april

22nd

  • updated the index layout a bit. i would like whoever is reading this to pour one out for the news ticker, which i silently axed last week due to concerns about motion sickness
  • i've also added status.cafe integration so that i can quickly post status updates and have it show up on the front page of the site. i was also considering having it be on the news ticker, but i don't think it is really warranted

6th

  • this one took a bit to figure out (mainly because the process of it was a bit tedious) but i've finally brought back the games page on my site! like before, this is a compilation of most of my old scratch games from 2014-2017… the difference between the last implementation of it and this one is that it's entirely hosted on the site! the projects are compiled through turbowarp and packaged up for this site! this means as long as the site's up, the games work!
  • eventually i do want to use the games folder for more than just old scratch games…but i don't have any games! for now…

february

15th

  • turns out there's been some posts with out of date formatting for a while… for example, images that still had the figure class on them despite the fact that hasn't been in main css file forever now! i've done that and also fixed up some other smaller css visuals. mainly with images and captions! they use the proper figcaption tags now. code snippets have also become a little fancier! or at the very least a lot more noticeable.
  • the most obvious change is that the main font the site uses for text was switched from ProFontWindows to iA Writer! ProFontWindows is still used, but just for the code element
  • misc page also got an overhaul, combining a few of the smaller pages into one, now that there's collapsible categories to keep everything in place. every blog post also has a new pair of buttons to go to the next or previous post chronologically! so at the time of writing this that'd be about all of the old posts that no one reads anyways…the source being I MADE IT UP!!!
  • handful of dead links were also fixed. note that not all of them on the blog have been fixed yet Simply Because i do not care!
  • i also forgot to mention this when i first added the feature, but the mobile layout of the site should be about a thousand times better now, as in text should scale properly! additionally, if the site detects that the width of the page is thin enough, it'll compress itself a bit to better fit the cramped resolution. that specifically has already been a thing, but the new feature here is that the navbar will now move to the bottom for ease of navigation on handheld devices! unless you use like your phone upside down or something

2024

november

22nd

  • whats up again - new site update! this one is more so a visual update - the most immediate change being the header and index have been facelifted considerably. i noticed how overbearing the older design of the home page used to be, so i've trimmed it down a bit and made things more clear with icons that i've designed myself, both for the navbar and the social links. they look nice i'd say
  • i also decided to get rid of the spin effect when clicking on images. it was always a weird implementation of the system and actually made it so it was impossible to right click on stuff, which was really annoying if you were to try copying an image for example. fortunately the hover still gets to exist
  • other than that, not much else new other than the two new project pages for cloudbox and strive for the ham burger, which i've seemed to forget to mention here… well, they're there now! i also reorganized them a bit. i might consider refactoring the graphics for the buttons but right now it does the job so it probably won't be anytime soon

19th

  • new site update: nothing too major, but i'm trying to fix up the readability of some pages. acronyms for instance now have an appropiate ABBR tag so you can hover on them to see what they actually stand for. this probably hasn't been rolled out to everything yet though and may take a few commits to do so
  • i've also reorganized the projects page a bit, added two more, and fixed up a handful of deadlinks and stuff i've been forgetting to fix up for a while now (looking at you unnamed header on the mssb world tour project page)

august

24th

  • hey! new update! its mostly some minor visual changes, but i've added 'ryan brawl' as a new project, it's a very quick 2023 comic i made with three episodes. other than that, it's the run of the mill updating of pages around here
  • minor QOL changes too with the novels (ppunk and nng), they should save your position when you come back to the page…note i have not tested it fully and maybe won't actually save your spot. who knows? solve my mystery…it's using localstorage so it should probably work
  • also images with links on them have this cool css hover animation now -- idk how long i'll leave those there but they look cool so like WHATEVER MAN!!! most of them also spin!!!
  • there might be a new blog post later down the line, or adding some older projects, but i got no clue when i'll ever get around to that. maybe someday!

february

22nd

  • oh man do these buttons keep on piling up. welcome to my website! the latest addition is the long awaited return of the blog! now one may ask "why would you bring this back? under any circumstance?" simple reason..
  • tumblr's recently taken a nosedive into being the most vile place for a trans person to be in right now, given the ceo (photomatt)'s whole "hating trans people very much and calling the fbi on them" type stuff. cohost ain't better either. originally i said something about that discord mod but then that was debunked so. uh. idk i still don't really use cohost anyways i got like 16 things queued on pillowfort right now
  • so what happens when literally no social media is viable or humane to post to? simple! just do it on your own damn site!
  • that's where the return of the blog comes into play. like last time don't really expect posts DAILY again. it'll be more long winded posts whenever i got a story to tell. for archivals sake (and also so that you have stuff to read) i've reformatted and included all of the old blog posts from before i took the section of the site out when rebranding
  • regarding the tumblr feed on the index…eh… odds are that'll be replaced once i find another thing to put there. who knows ill probably just put the chatbox there instead. i hear pillowfort's pretty good but i do not believe they have a surfing waves feed equivalent? which isn't very convenient in my case
  • eh, either way, blog's back. minus a few more misc pages i believe this marks most of the sites features finally getting back online! i swear if i have to redesign this site a 5th time i'm definitley gonna look into not doing that. have fun!

7th

  • hey! it's that site! welcome back to this website… what's new with it? there's not much groundbreaking new content (yet) other than the introduction of some slight quality of life features, which i'll explain now!
  • the first new feature you'll immediately notice is the new 'find' button! this is essentially my patchwork solution for getting to a specific page on the website without having to navigate to it all the time. instead, you can just click on 'find', type in the path to the file, and you're set!
  • so say you want to go to CFAN6 C2.. all you need to do now is click on find, type in 'projects/cfan6/2', and you'll be there probably faster! probably not by that fast, but it's definitley convenient if you just check this site for something new.
  • if you do try that, you might also notice the three new buttons below the comic page navigation! i've updated the comic framework to now support save and loading! this uses your browser's local storage feature to help keep track what page you're on.
  • do note that it'll only use local storage to keep track of the page you're on and it only records it ONCE you click the save button.
  • …also yeah it's kinda like homestuck
  • the page number in the page jumper in the middle now automatically updates to the page number its actually on, so it seems less jarring. it also looks nicer in general!
  • the next update adds some new stuff to the misc page if you wanna check that out. introduces a new category for seperate pages, such as the return of useful links, and the return of the changelog, now renamed to news ticker history. there may also be a webTV in there. please double check for me!
  • but yeah that should be it. have a wonderful world thank you

2023

december

9th

  • NEW UPDATE: the art page! i've finally gotten around to posting what my art looks like on here, in the event my social media pages don't cut it… right now it contains mindvisor and puyopunk art, but i'll update it with any new stuff i crank out
  • by the way! did you know that there's a new background now? it's also svg format, so it's scalable! it's got a nice texture to it…'
  • the about page is also merged with the home page now! so all the buttons (+ new userbars!!!) are there now for convenience.
  • misc page is also back…it ain't funny featured yet, but it should
  • there's also a fixed width now! so if you got one of those WIDE monitors, now the site should actually be more readable instead of it all being one line!
  • bonus!! new background! it's scalable, and fancy! no more of that solid color, now you get to enjoy two solid colors for your viewing entertainment!
  • for the time being i've commented out the footer code, ended up being pretty distracting (and the only use for jquery), so until i know what to do with it i'll leave it like that

october

29th

  • hii! apologies for not updating. been busy drawing. projects page has been updated!!
  • not much else new, but i'll be sure to try and update this more than once every year! key word here is try
  • in other news i've recently been posting stuff to tumblr and the public server landofspikes more often! i've got it linked somewhere. can you find my secret super link?
  • one last thing actually! the website had a massive overhaul in how you access pages. now instead of going to the pages entirely, you go through an iframe for them now! this actually makes it so that you'll probably finally read this news ticker now!
  • that's all from me for now! have fun with the place! contact me if anything's a bit silly for you
